Very excited to be the president of the PGA. Thank You PGA Members for all do!
Here is my Vice President Report presented at the 2023 Annual Meeting.
The best recruiting program ever created is happening in the Utah Section! For 30 years they have nurtured and promoted high school golf changing the lives of thousands of high school golfers. Their girls golf impact is staggering. From 30 young ladies to over 1,000! They are promoting our profession, our game, and our Association. I'm inspired by the night and motivated to get the rest of our Association to see the value of copying this amazing engagement.

Thanks for taking the time to watch this presentation. It is different than the one I did in Atlanta in February. That being said, I think you will find that many of the things I mentioned pre COVID have become really important post COVID. Please never hesitate to contact me with any questions and remember, I have an open to everyone ZOOM call every Friday. The link is below on my calendar. I hope to talk with you soon. Have a great day!
If you couldn't make it to Super Regional #1 in Atlanta, they did record the candidate presentations. It is 25 minutes, but if you want to know why I am running, what my ideas are and how it will impact the PGA member, it will be worth your time. Let me know if you have any questions.
Well, it is time to hit that first tee shot and begin this campaign at the Super Regional in Atlanta, GA next week. Can't wait.
Also wanted to invite you to my Google Hangout tomorrow at 11am MST. Everyone is invited.
Have a question? Want an answer?
Talk to you tomorrow.
So many takeaways from the show last week, but two thoughts I want to talk about today. 1) Some of our members don’t know this poster exists. 2) Some of our members don’t think they have a say in the very association that they own. We have many roles, but We Wear One Badge. That badge is the gold standard.
We need to build a farm system of leadership. PGA.Leadership will be the program to make this a reality.
Annual Section Meetings and Board Meetings costs should be subsidized.
A Speaker's Bureau will give Sections access to professional speakers at a discount.
Investing in our Sections, is investing in our member. We live and work in 41 Sections, but We Wear One Badge
