Here is a little glimpse into what we do at Augusta Ranch and why I enjoy being a green grass PGA Golf Professional. Can you imagine if we worked with shows similar to this to feature our PGA rockstars throughout the nation? That would be powerful and truly tell the story about what we all do everyday. It can be done very inexpensively and easily. It would help our brand, compensation and recruitment.

We opened up Toptracer on November 11, 2022. We honored veterans and celebrated PGA HOPE. We are very excited to use Toptracer to bring families together, unite veterans, see friends hang together all the while having a fun time swinging a club.

As a professional umpire for 9 years, I umpired over 1,300 baseball games. What does that have to do with being an Officer of the PGA of America? Glad you asked.
Karen and I have been married for 21 years. My son, Don Rea III, is 28 and our daughter Katie is 16. I've been a PGA member for 18 years working/teaching at public golf courses from low to high end for 20+ years. I currently own/operate Augusta Ranch Golf Club. I have served my Section as BOD, Secretary, VP and President, and our Association on Committees and as District #14 Director (2016-19). I am currently on the NGCOA Board of Directors.
Fun fact...I used to be a professional umpire.
I have been serving and protecting the PGA Member for 20 years. I see lots of opportunity and exciting times ahead, but also some areas of concern. I will focus on Serving the Member with programs such as PGA.Leadership, Section Speaker Bureaus and Meeting Subsidies. To Protect the Member I will address Local Legislative Advocacy and Dangerous Online Tee Time Practices. We work at many different facilities, wear many different hats, but...
