Jay Karen (NGCOA CEO) and Don Rea, PGA (Owner of Augusta Ranch Golf Club & Secretary for PGA of America) will cover the latest happenings in the golf industry and take YOUR questions live so that your golf business remains ahead of the curve!
Just wanted to say thank you to all of the delegates for their time and attention throughout this process during an unprecedented time in the industry. The win is no doubt emotional and overwhelming as have been the hundreds of texts and emails I have received over the past two days. I take that oath I gave on Thursday very seriously. Very excited to serve our members and make sure this association works for us as our PGA founding members intended. Dave, Tom and Kelly are good friends and I was so proud to be in that foursome. No doubt we took campaigning for Secretary to the next level. That being said, I have to thank my campaign team: Karen, Katie, Joe Shershenovich, Glenn Lee, Jim Dorman, Dr. Chris Cain, Jay Larscheid, and our COS Tyler Gallagher.
Now it is time to bring everyone together, all of our members, and lead this industry in a collective and collaborative way for the greater good of getting more people to play golf, ensuring that golf as a business is successful and that our members are successful in their professional and personal lives. It is just that simple. I am excited to do my part, not drink the Kool Aid, and work with the PGA BOD and Staff to serve my fellow PGA Members. God Bless. Isaiah 41:10
The Officer Town Hall is designed for PGA Members to learn about key initiatives of the Association directly from our Executive team. The team also addresses pertinent questions that were submitted online.
In case you missed it, here is the video from when I gave my testimony a few weeks back at Bethel Church. Can't have a testimony without a test. I pray this blesses someone. Mark 5:19.
A follow up segment on Breaking Par after being elected. Features interviews with me and President Jim Richerson, PGA.
Here are the official results and announcement. As well as my first speech to the membership
My final 10 minute presentation to the delegates during the PGA Annual Meeting. Includes the SWOT Analysis Results, my thoughts on Frisco, Non Golfer Marketing, Supreme Golf, PGA.Leadership and the 5 Why's to elect me your next PGA Secretary.
Here is a short video that our campaign team put together to surprise me on Wednesday night, the night before the election. Thank you Mike Petty, Shoe, Glenn, Chris, JD, Tyler, Karen and Katie. It truly was a journey together. Thank you. :)
Here is a little glimpse into what we do at Augusta Ranch and why I enjoy being a green grass PGA Golf Professional. Can you imagine if we worked with shows similar to this to feature our PGA rockstars throughout the nation? That would be powerful and truly tell the story about what we all do everyday. It can be done very inexpensively and easily. It would help our brand, compensation and recruitment.
Thanks for taking the time to watch this presentation. It is different than the one I did in Atlanta in February. That being said, I think you will find that many of the things I mentioned pre COVID have become really important post COVID. Please never hesitate to contact me with any questions and remember, I have an open to everyone ZOOM call every Friday. The link is below on my calendar. I hope to talk with you soon. Have a great day!
